Manpower Promotes Business for Middle East Youth; Center for Resource Solutions Seeks Conference Papers; KPMG Foundation Supports Minority Accounting Students - CSR Minute for July 3, 2012

Manpower has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and employability among youth in the Middle East and North Africa. The company has formed an official alliance with INJAZ al-Arab, which works with corporate and government authorities in training programs for youth to develop into business leaders and entrepreneurs.

The Center for Resource Solutions has issued a call for presentations for its Renewable Energy Markets 2012 conference to be held this September. The organization is looking for 10-12 minute presentations featuring new data or ideas, and fresh thinking about renewable-energy markets. Proposals are due by end of the day this Friday.

The KPMG Foundation has awarded $470,000 in scholarships to minority accounting doctoral students for the 2012-2013 academic year. The recipients include 12 new students and 35 students whose scholarships have been renewed. Each scholarship is valued at $10,000 dollars, and is renewable annually for up to five years.
