PaperFoam Technology is a young and fast-growing company based in the Netherlands. Established in 1998, the vision of the company’s founders was to produce packaging using industrial starch as a prime ingredient. Once they had fine-tuned and patented the necessary injection molding technology, their first commercial products soon came on line. The subsequent appointment of licensees and partners around the world helped further expansion and by 2010 more than 200 million PaperFoam trays were being produced for dozens of customers.
