I am excited about this project on two different levels. First, the project takes a step towards financial self-sustainability, which can help a nonprofit focus on its mission rather than fundraising. Also, the project gives young people a safe space to invest in themselves, in each other, and in their future; the community center becomes a kind of playground for innovation and small business development. This tool is broken. I clicked on the Promote button and the number actually went DOWN. I tried to click it again to reverse this odd effect. No difference. I dare not try pressing other buttons. Best of luck.

I really like this idea because of its self-sustainability and functionality. It goes a step further besides providing support, by helping youth eventually become independent and give back to a resource that has helped them.

This is a great idea. Investing in marginalized youth and providing them with the necessary skills and training they need to succeed is a plan that can truly make a positive difference.

Its great to see what you guys are doing with the Interdependent Project. There is definitely a need for a concise platform for others to get information on sustainability and solution oriented ideas for improving our lives and environment. I see how becoming a class B corporation could itself help Interdependent Project be sustainable. Best of luck to you!

Have you ever checked the shipping rates on boxes of clothes? A suitcase of clothes would probably cost a couple hundred dollars shipped. This is a local thing and usually people go to thrift stores for this kind idea.
