Each summer, Alexion hosts interns at its headquarters in Boston and its R&D Center of Excellence in New Haven, Connecticut. One of the highlights of the program is Intern Day, a full-day workshop dedicated to advancing the interns’ knowledge of Alexion, providing career coaching and sharing advice from senior leaders. This year, nearly 30 interns participated in the workshop and enjoyed having the opportunity to:

The depth of Alexion’s commitment to serving the rare disease community is what kept drawing Global Medical Affairs Fellow, Adam Quicquaro, PharmD, back to the company. After completing his internship in Global Medical Information and Medical Review at Alexion, Adam returned to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science University to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Alexion Partners With PluSport for Second Year

July in Zurich began with five Alexion employees traveling to Magglingen for the 58th PluSport Day, a recreational sports event that brings together 1,500 athletes with disabilities. This is Alexion’s second year working with PluSport, Switzerland’s umbrella organization for handicapped sports. Alexion employees spent the day refereeing and facilitating a variety of activities including a crowd favorite, the basketball toss.

White & Case’s 1L Diversity Fellowship program provides qualified first-year law students with experience working with clients, specifically those seeking to create an environment where the diversity of thought and background are not only encouraged, but preferred.
