SCS’ Sustainably Grown Certification Program Now ANSI Accredited

EMERYVILLE, Calif., January 3, 2017, /3BL Media/-  SCS Global Services (SCS) announced today that its Sustainably Grown Certification program is now accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).  In this context, SCS is among the first entities to be recognized by ANSI as an eligible eco-labeling certification scheme owner and standards developer under the internationally recognized requirements and processes of the ISO 14020 and ISO 14024 standards.

Participation and Fundraising Campaign Announced for Pilot Test of National Sustainable Agriculture Standard LEO-4000

The LEO-4000 standard has reached an important milestone. It is now entering the technical edit phase in order to be published as a draft standard, which will be sent to the Standard Committee for approval of the initiation of the public comment period.

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Madison, WI - May 24, 2010 - The Sustainable Agriculture Standard development process received a new number from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), LEO-4000, which replaces the previous number LEO-SCS-001. When standard developers initiate the development process for a standard, ANSI assigns a number to be the identifier for that standard development process and for the standard developed.
