CLEVELAND, April 20, 2015 /3BL Media/ – April 20-24, KeyBank (NYSE: KEY) is holding Green Office Week, an employee-focused environmental sustainability celebration which conincides with both Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22) and Arbor Day (Friday, April 24). All events for the week highlight major initiatives that support Key’s sustainability efforts, including those that improve the environment, drive efficiencies, and promote health and wellness. Key’s Sustainability team partnered with business groups across the bank to develop the event.
In celebration of National Arbor Day, the City of Dallas along with Mary Kay Inc., dedicated the Mary Kay Ash Tree Grove in Pioneer Park outside the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. This outdoor green space is part of Mary Kay’s Pink Doing Green (SM) initiative to plant 1 million tress in the U.S. through a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and guidance from the U.S. Forest Service. Brushing off the wintery blues and shifting into the season of blooms, GM employees from our Toledo Transmission facility recently planted 700 trees at the site of The Battle of Fallen Timbers in Maumee, Ohio.
