ASPCA and Subaru celebrate longstanding partnership aimed at impacting thousands of animals across the country

The advertising campaign, airing nationally, authentically brings to life stories of those the automaker has impacted through the national charities which the Subaru Share the Love Event benefits: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America and National Park Foundation.
According to the ASPCA®, approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter shelters each year. As part of our Subaru Loves Pets initiative, this October, Subaru and our retailers are partnering with local animal organizations to help our furry friends and improve their chances at finding a safe and loving home.
Automaker Brings Awareness to the Hardest-to-Adopt Shelter Dogs Through New Creative Campaign and Nationwide Impact Effort

In line with their love of animals, Subaru counts the ASPCA among one of the beneficiaries of Share the Love, contributing to the rescue, adoption and transport of 50,000 animals. Their latest commercial highlights this special relationship, showing a little girl falling for a scruffy pup at an adoption event.
Automaker Partners with ASPCA to Help Pets Find Loving Homes
CAMDEN, N.J., April 18, 2019 /3BL Media/ — Subaru of America, Inc. today announced it will be hosting a pet adoption event during the 2019 New York International Auto Show in partnership with the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), based in New York City. The ASPCA is the longest-standing animal welfare organization in North America and serves as the nation’s leading voice for animals in crisis. For the eleventh consecutive year, the ASPCA was one of four national charities to participate in the Subaru Share the Love® Event, which began on November 15, 2018, and ended on January 2, 2019.
Subaru set no limit on the total donation to all charities for the third year in a row, resulting in a total donation of nearly $27.5 million from Subaru and its retailers! This year, the ASPCA received an incredible donation—over $2.9 million—thanks to ASPCA supporters and Subaru owners across the country.
April 3rd marked the end of the 2018 Subaru Share the Love event, raising a total of $27.5 million for national and local charities. Over the last 11 years, through the Share the Love Event, Subaru of America and its retailers have donated more than $145.7 million to national charities and over 1,170 hometown charities.
