You’re now Global Sustainability Director, how did you get into the industry?
Hamilton, Bermuda, August 26, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Ongoing environmental efforts to protect Fiji’s spectacular Great Sea Reef and lush tropical farmland include a model sugarcane farm initiative backed by Bacardi, maker of the world’s favorite rum, and the conservation group, World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Bacardi is working with global nonprofit Bonsucro to foster sustainability in the sugarcane sector as part of its effort to make good on its promise of obtaining 40 percent of the sugarcane-derived products used to make its rums from certified, sustainable sources by 2017 and 100 percent by 2022.
