Team Sky and Sponsor 21CF Donate Bikes, Gear and More to Los Angeles Boys & Girls Clubs


As Team Sky returned to the U.S. for the 2016 Amgen Tour of California, the team and its sponsor 21st Century Fox donated bikes, helmets, Team Sky shirts and more to the young members of the South Bay Boys & Girls Clubs in Los Angeles. The pro cyclists also spent the afternoon of May 11 guiding the kids from South Bay through a cycling confidence course, helping them get comfortable riding and giving them the tools they need to stay active and healthy.

FOX Sports Supports and National Geographic honored as leaders in social responsibility on television


At the Second Annual Social Good Awards Breakfast in New York City, Cynopsis Media recognized FOX Sports Supports as this year's "Social Good Shining Star," while awarding several honorable mentions to programming at National Geographic. At the “Jazzin It Up” event held at POSH at the Scranton Club, a check for the grand total was presented to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Employment Opportunity and Training Center (EOTC), and Marley’s Mission.

Chris Froome Leads Team Sky to Third Tour de France Victory


When Team Sky's Chris Froome crossed the finish line on the Champs-Èlysèes on Sunday, cementing a 72-second lead over his nearest competitor Nairo Quintana, he became the first Briton in history to win the Tour de France twice. Team Sky, sponsored by 21st Century Fox, collected the overall team award, marking the third time the team has won the Tour in the past four years.

What better way to combine the two than with Time Warner Cable’s Connect a Million Minds STEM in Sports Hockey program with NHL team the Anaheim Ducks.  In partnership with the Samueli Foundation and the Ducks, Time Warner Cable created a national PSA with the Ducks center, Ryan Getzlof and curriculum of the science behind hockey that can be used by educators, after school programs and parents.
