Owens Corning, Intel and General Mills top 20th annual cross-industry, U.S. ranking
NEW YORK, May 15, 2019 /3BL Media/ - Corporate Responsibility Magazine (CR Magazine) announced today its 20th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking, recognizing outstanding environmental, social and governance (ESG) transparency and performance amongst the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies.
Owens Corning tops the ranking, followed by Intel, General Mills, Campbell Soup and HP Inc. Twenty-seven companies are new to the ranking in 2019 including Allstate, Delta Airlines and Mondelez International. Biggest gainers include Ball Corp., CBRE, Ford and Xylem, Inc.
Today, the Toronto-based media and investment advisory company, Corporate Knights released its 2014 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World index, in which Coca-Cola Enterprises is ranked number 43.
This is the second time Coca-Cola Enterprises have been featured in the ranking, being listed #78 in 2011. CCE is number one among the five listed companies from the Food & Beverage sector, including Nestlé (#86), Unilever (#93), Campbell Soup (#96) and Danone (#97).

Late last month, representatives of WHQ's Global HR team visited the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) in Camden to drop off gifts for families who recently experienced the loss of a parent. After enjoying a holiday program put on by the ECDC students, Bob Morrissey, Chief Human Resources Officer, announced an ongoing partnership between the WHQ HR team and the ECDC to "adopt" the school for the 2013 calendar year. The team will begin working immediately with the ECDC to understand their needs and to organize events and programs throughout the year.
In November 2012, Green Bean Casserole fans pinned over 10,000 servings to help donate 10,000 dollars to Feeding America. Their efforts were part of Campbell’s innovative Thanksgiving campaign designed to help drive food donations by creating the largest-ever Green Bean Casserole on Pintrest.
