A recent study published in The Harvard Business Review estimates that the average young, talented worker only stays at the same job for 28 months before moving on to another company. The same report stated that nearly three-quarters of a company’s young high-achieving employees are actively looking for other opportunities outside of their company, and are interviewing with another company at least once a year.

With the close of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, top athletes who dedicated their time and energy to ‘go for the gold™’ are hitting the road on a 10-stop national campus tour called “It’s Your Race, Take the Lead,sponsored by Deloitte and in collaboration with U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC). From September 4th – October 9th, the athletes will share with students the lessons in leadership that helped them achieve success in their individual sports and lives.

The students will have a chance to network with Deloitte recruiters and leaders – who plan to make about 7,000 campus hires this year – to learn about the organization’s high-performance culture and potential career opportunities.
