Exciting Green Career for 2011 Job Market

Blog

The Green Business League is building the most impressive Green Consultant and auditing force in the country with international offices growing as well. Most experts admit that the Green program has not yet caught fire, but is showing signs of becoming a mainstay of American business. More than a decade of Green rhetoric and token efforts is no longer good enough. More and more companies are asking, “Are you Green certified?” (And they don’t mean did you buy a Green logo off the Internet). By the way, no one should accept flimsy un-audited certifications anyway.

Great Opportunities for a Green Career

Press Release

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) March 17, 2011 - The Green Business League has come out with a new and unique assessment and marketing software that is exploding in the Business world.  Many companies are trying to figure out how they can become sustainable.  One reason that companies are “Going Green” is because of rising energy prices.  Other companies see Green compliance as a marketing strategy to create a positive public image.  Like most companies, they have no idea what Green is or how to achieve a credible certification.  The Green Business League has made it easy to develop a Green busine

What is a Green Officer?

Blog

We do make distinction between a Green officer and a Certified Sustainability Officer.  Referring to Executive Order #13514, the installation of a person to champion the sustainability plan is a basic requirement.  Oftentimes, this person is not well trained although they are willing and personally committed to environmental causes.  When the officer is trained, they have the ability of the CSO to provide greater insight and a better sustainability plan for a company wishing to Go Green.

Make Green Consulting Your Green Career

Press Release

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) December 14, 2010 - With more than 30 million businesses in America alone, the question is how these stressed businesses will have the time and resources to develop a Green plan for their operation. The answer is that there is no good plan to accomplish this task, and nearly every business is confused and frustrated by the process. There are energy audit, trash audits, carbon footprints to calculate, offsets to purchase, water and air pollution, Green purchasing, and a growing number of compliance issues coming.

Green Job Grants Available for a Sustainable Career

Press Release

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) December 2, 2010 - After hearing about Green jobs for nearly two years, those looking for a career as a Green Consultant may now apply for a Green Job Grant. Green Business League has received a $10,000 one-time grant for Green job creation.  This is a rare opportunity, and there is no assurance that the grant will be repeated, but the next 20 Green Consultants or Certified Sustainability Officers will get the grant.  When the money is gone, the program is over.

Green Business Comes from Green Behavior

Press Release

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) November 1, 2010 - There are different approaches to the environmental issues we face today.  We see some organizations that are addressing buildings, homes, and their owners.  But what about the rest of the business and homes that would like to become green certified?  Do they have to build, renovate, or add expense changes to improve their carbon footprint?  The answer is No; we can start by understanding that going Green is about individual behavior of every one on this planet.

Is it Really Green Versus Sustainable?

Blog

Okay, there is an ugly rumor running about that business leaders have an aversion to the basic idea of Green.  If we investigate this mild phobia, we would learn that the sustainable word is considered a more business-friendly concept.  But, why?  Well, it seems that the concept of Green had a rough time at birth.  It was kidnapped by a band of treehuggers, fed by veggans, and watched Captain Planet save the world from ravaging corporate polluters.
