Maybe I shouldn’t write this post at all. Honestly, I don’t know. I’m conflicted. For the past couple of days, I have struggled to determine whether or not using this medium to write about the Paris attacks is appropriate. These words seem so insignificant, almost meaningless, compared to the scope of this injustice. I worry that using an environmentally-themed blog to offer sympathy, even genuinely felt sympathy, might cheapen the gravitas of Friday’s tragedy.
August 21, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Carnival Cruise Line has been recognized by the Port of Long Beach for its participation in the Green Ship Incentive Program.
This clean-air initiative acknowledges the efforts of Carnival and other maritime operators for deploying today's greenest ships at the port and accelerating the use of tomorrow's technologies. As part of the program, ships are required to reduce speed while approaching and departing the Port of Long Beach.
