Over 50% of employees at the Villa Rica, Sanofi’s factory in Colombia, live in the nearby town, one of the areas most affected by the armed conflict in Colombia, with attendant social problems such as drugs, prostitution and crime.
In 2014, Sanofi identified 41 employees living in vulnerable conditions. That’s the reason why, in order to develop greater social interaction with the community, the factory has launched the program Generation of Healthy Families.
