Team members raise $110,000; locations serve as event pit stops in fifth consecutive year as sponsor

For the fifth consecutive year, the brand was a presenting sponsor, raising a record-breaking $110,000 to support the Ride’s primary benefactor, Victory Junction, a camp dedicated to providing life-changing experiences to children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

California Native Plant Society, Byrnes’ nonprofit beneficiary, will receive $10,000. Byrnes was among the three finalists who were nominated by the public then chosen by local judging panels and went to compete in an online public vote for the title of California’s Cox Conserves Hero.
Campaign will enable construction of 37 miles of trails throughout Metro Atlanta
April 6, 2016 /3BL Media/ - The PATH Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary with plans to add 37 new miles of trails. The organization is seeking to raise $15.8 million in private funds through a recently-launched fundraising campaign. The campaign will leverage more than $34 million in public funding for a total investment of $50 million in new trail projects. To encourage community support, the James M. Cox Foundation has committed $6 million to the effort.
Funds to help organization triple the number of at-risk youth served each year

Cox Foundation announced a $175,000 grant to Reconcile New Orleans to help finish construction of a 17,000 square-foot training facility at the non-profit. Cox is also donating surplus kitchen equipment from its corporate headquarters in Atlanta to help Reconcile train at-risk youth how to build careers in hospitality, one of the city’s top industries.
