The Potowmack Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society, Ford’s nonprofit beneficiary, will receive $10,000. Representing Fairfax County, Hampton Roads and Roanoke, three finalists were nominated by the public and chosen by local judging panels. The finalists then competed in an online public vote for the title of Virginia’s Cox Conserves Hero.

Cox Enterprises Celebrates Summer Solstice with Solar Projects in Nevada

Cox Communications and Manheim solar arrays annually reduce more than 1,700 tons of carbon

Las Vegas, June 20, 2016 /3BL Media/ – At a dedication event held today, Cox Enterprises announced the completion of solar projects at its Cox Communications facility in Las Vegas and its Manheim Nevada facility in North Las Vegas. Combined, the solar installations annually prevent more than 1,700 tons of carbon from entering the environment. The installations produce 1,523 kW of clean energy, equivalent to the amount needed to power 238 homes.
