Republic Services’ Dallas division took strides in support of the many people and their families affected by cancer over the weekend of September 26, 2015. The Republic team of 40 employees and their family members participated in the One Run 5K in support of Cancer Support Community North Texas, the largest international non-profit dedicated to providing support, education and hope to people affected by cancer.
It was a banner summer for the Players Trust programs that engage kids in their communities when school is out.
Buses for Baseball brought underserved kids to the ballpark, through City Clinics players helped inner-city kids learn the game, Action Teams partnered with players to serve their communities and Operation Backpack ensured that some of the neediest children will have sufficient school supplies when they return to the classroom.
