Kids in Arizona Dive into Water Education with Support from Essity

"Water conservation is important to Essity, and teaching students about this topic is something we are proud to support. We know that educators have limited money available to do everything they would like to do with their students and we are proud to support their commitment to sustainability and provide extra funds to make their projects a reality. Getting students and young people involved in environmental learning is a key part of ensuring a life-long commitment to sustainability. Thank you to the city of Flagstaff for instilling this behavior in our young citizens.

Essity Lends a Helping Hand to Hurricane Harvey Relief

Diane Engler and other Essity Employees went to the NBC10 Philadelphia studio, to give a helping hand with a donation for Hurricane Harvey relief to the American Red Cross.

While at the studio, employees participated by answering phones and collecting donations at the telethon. Engler announced Essity’s $100,000 national donation to the Red Cross which is made up of Tork and TENA hygiene products and money from the company and its employees which the Red Cross will use in support of Hurricane Harvey relief.

Its main tasks are to decide major public health policy questions, approve the World Health Organization’s work programme and budget, and elect its Director General. Together with our UN partner WSSCC and Wateraid, Essity hosted an event focusing on “Hygiene and Health throughout the Life Course”.
