Thousands of employees activate day of service events in local communities

This year, Nestlé will expand its work with Feeding America®, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the U.S., to support local food banks and non-profit organizations that provide nutritious foods to families in need. LOGANSPORT, Ind., June 15, 2018 /3BL Media/ – Tyson Foods announced today a $151,000 donation to Food Finders Food Bank to help fund a mobile food pantry and leverage access to federal funding for food programs. The company also donated a truckload of protein totaling 29,640 pounds, the equivalent of 118,560 servings.
A portion of the products donated were sent to Hawaii to help with volcano disaster-relief efforts.

Grant part of $23 million that has been committed to Feeding America® and the network of food banks to provide children with access to nutritious food
NEW YORK, May 17, 2018 /3BL Media/ – Morgan Stanley Foundation today announced over $1,500,000 in grants to local food banks in 29 cities across 20 states to support hunger-relief programs that deliver food assistance and healthy meals to children and families. These grants are part of our most recent commitment, bringing our support total to more than $23 million to 200 Feeding America member food banks to help launch, build upon and sustain critical child nutrition programs through child hunger grants and expand access to fresh produce through produce grants.
$1.2 million investment to address food insecurity through mobile pantries, increase capacity in 15 states
SPRINGDALE, Ark., May 2, 2018 /3BL Media/ – As part of Tyson Foods’ (NYSE: TSN) efforts to raise the world’s expectations for how much good food can do and its commitment to support the communities it serves, the company announced today nearly $1.2 million in grants to 18 Feeding America food banks in 15 states. The investments represent approximately four million pounds of food or the equivalent of 16 million servings of protein that will be distributed to address food insecurity.

Walmart, Feeding America and Nextdoor are working to inspire discussions on hunger
