Bank Celebrated newborns at 19 Central Indiana Hospitals
INDIANAPOLIS, May 25, 2022 /3BL Media/ - Fifth Third Bank celebrated its namesake day (5/3 on the calendar) by surprising the families of 77 babies born in participating Central Indiana area hospitals with $1,053 to open a college savings account, as well a gift card and essential baby needs.
More than 19,000 employees at Fifth Third Bank, National Association, will celebrate Fifth Third Day by helping to provide 5.3 million meals in May to people facing food insecurity. The meals will be donated to various hunger relief organizations across the Bank’s 11-state retail footprint in honor of the companywide community celebration on May 3. The Bank recognizes that date, 5/3 on the calendar, as Fifth Third Day.

Extra Time has helped customers avoid more than $22 million in fees

Fifth Third’s elimination of all NSF fees is the Bank’s most recent step to reduce punitive fees and focus on the best outcomes for customers.
