Georgia-Pacific Earns Two 2021 AF&PA Sustainability Awards

The American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA) awarded Georgia-Pacific with two sustainability awards for how GP is increasing manufacturing efficiencies and the recyclability of our products through innovations across the recycling supply chain.

The first award highlights our sustainable manufacturing process to make Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® bath tissue. And the second award recognizes innovations to use recycled material in cups and our work to manufacture recyclable mailers for customers in our packaging business.

In less than 24 hours and 17 inches of rain, 20 residents lost their lives. Many buildings, including homes and businesses, were impacted by the flooding as well.
