Results from a current FOCUS and XING survey confirm Bombardier’s strong position in the transportation sector

A total of 379 companies earned the title “best employer” in the survey published by the news magazine FOCUS and the career portal XING, with Bombardier rated among the 100 best employers.

The share of electricity produced in Germany from renewable energy sources is expected to beat the government’s forecast, reaching almost 50 percent by 2025. The current expansion of wind, solar and other renewable power sources will top the official target of 35 percent by 2022. Renewable energy’s share in Germany’s electricity production has risen from 17 to 25 percent, driven by subsidies and investment incentives, since the country decided to phase out nuclear power after Japan’s 2011 disaster.

Last Friday, September 14th, the Deichtorhallen Hamburg opened the Albert Watson: Visions feat. Cotton made in Africa exhibition in the House of Photography. At its heart are 36 large format photographs taken in Benin that portray the smallholder farmers who work with the Cotton made in Africa initiative and their living environment. The show also includes numerous other photographs taken by legendary photographer Albert Watson of such reknown stars as Mick Jagger, Kate Moss and Clint Eastwood.
