Habitat and MGM Resorts Set to Raise the Walls on 100th Home on January 31; Funding of Land Donated by the City of Henderson
LAS VEGAS, January 12, 2015 /3BL Media/ — In collaboration with MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) and the City of Henderson, Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas will raise the walls on its 100th home on January 31, marking a significant milestone for the organization.
Brian Burton, President and CEO of Three Square Food Bank, was nearly at a loss for words to describe the results of this year's MGM Resorts Canned Food Drive totals.
"The first year (of the food drive), I said I was impressed. The second year, you exceeded our expectations. Last year blew us away. What can I say this year? Keep this up, and we'll need another warehouse," he said.
They are some of the most important VIPs the Company will host all year.
More than 65 veterans arrived at The Mirage to a hero’s welcome. Hundreds of cheering employees were joined by a high school marching band and color guard for a surprise reception line to greet the Wounded Warriors for a special “Salute to the Troops” Veteran’s Day weekend.
