Carnival Cruise Line’s ‘Wiggle for Westmead’ Raises Funds to Purchase Vital Equipment for the Grace Centre at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead
August 7, 2018 /3BL Media/ - Thanks to the generosity of Carnival Cruise Line’s guests and the success of the Wiggle for Westmead program, Carnival donated new medical equipment to the Grace Centre at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
To celebrate the donation, Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Australia, Jennifer Vandekreeke and Carnival Spirit Captain, Vittorio Marchi joined Medical Director for the Grace Centre, Professor Nadia Badawi in a celebratory Wiggle for Westmead.

Friday, April 20 was truly a global day of giving. Nearly 4,000 employees from 25 different regions around the world contributed ideas, talent and compassion to more than 125 projects in local communities for the 22nd annual Viacommunity Day, a celebration of the company’s values and commitment to giving back.

Keone Kela of the Texas Rangers uses baseball to connect with kids around the world
Major League Baseball pitcher Keone Kela doesn't do anything half-hearted.
So it came as no surprise that the hard-throwing Texas Rangers reliever made it his off-season mission to genuinely connect with young people both in the United States and China.
Kela, who won't turn 25 until the third week of his fourth season with the Rangers several months from now, has already accomplished a lot for his age. He's pitched most of the past three years out of the Rangers' bullpen, earning a reputation for a competitive approach and a four-seam fastball he can dial up to 100 mph.
