As a new national sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® movement, CVS Health has pledged to raise a minimum of $10 million over the next three years to support life-saving cardiovascular research and education.
In support of National Wear Red Day®, every time you post a picture wearing red to @CVSinAction on Twitter and Facebook CVS Health will donate $1 up to $10,000 to the American Heart Association February 6 through February 13 2015. Note, you must be over 18 to post a photo. Photos may only be posted once, and only one donation per user will be made. Multiple posts from the same user or users or of the same photo, will not result in multiple donations. Users assume the responsibility of obtaining permission from all persons in their photo to post the photo publicly.
Two Vermont medical centers, Fletcher Allen and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, are joining up with 13 other Vermont hospitals and health clinics to form a new, accountable care organization, an ACO, called OneCare Vermont. The new association will focus on efficiency and quality in delivering health care.
