In 2019 alone, Green Mountain Energy customers prevented more than 9.3 billion pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2) by choosing cleaner electricity and carbon offset products. For perspective, this is equivalent to removing nearly one million cars from roadways or turning lights off in 11.9 million households for a year.
