We know Halloween can be a sweet holiday, as well as a frightfully wasteful one with all of the disposable decorations, packaging, and costumes that come with the season. But at Keep America Beautiful®, we know it doesn’t have to be that way!

While the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to pose unique challenges to us all, Halloween can still be fun and safe, as well as sustainable and eco-friendly. Here are 5 tips to help you add some green to your Halloween festivities.

AEG’s LA Kings spent the afternoon yesterday at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) visiting patients and families alongside the LA Kings Ice Crew and team mascot Bailey on Oct. 29.

During the Halloween-themed visit, the entire Kings roster spent the afternoon visiting patients’ rooms, signing autographs, taking photos and leading Halloween-themed arts and crafts. The team visit was in conjunction with the Kings’ longstanding relationship with CHLA and the club’s recent three-year pledge of $450,000 announced at the club’s 20th annual LA Kings Golf Tournament on Sept. 20.
