This act of domestic terrorism, which led to the desecration of the Capitol building and the loss of five lives, including one U.S. Capitol police officer, occurred after protesters stormed the Capitol building to disrupt a joint session of Congress certifying the Electoral College vote in Capitol Hill.

If approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the new standard would also require each company to have at least two diverse directors—one self-identifying female and one self-identifying minority or LGBTQ+ director.

WASHINGTON, October 6, 2020 /3BL Media/ - The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) supports the passage of Assembly Bill 979 by the California State Assembly and State Senate signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom on October 30, 2020. The new law mandates that all California-based, publicly held companies have at least one board director from an underrepresented community by 2021.
Another prestigious group has recognized AT&T for its diversity efforts. The Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility (HACR) has given a nearly perfect rating of 95 out of 100 to AT&T on their Corporate Inclusion Index (CII) – the highest rating of any company surveyed.
