Support from Local Radio Advertisers Brings Healthy Nutrition Program to 12 Hartford Early Learning Centers
HARTFORD, CONN., – Dec. 9, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Hartford Radio Advertisers, Price Chopper Supermarkets, Balise Motor Sales, Apple Auto Wholesalers and AAA Insurance have teamed up with the National Recreation and Park Association to support the Little City Sprouts program, which works to bring gardening and healthy nutritional practices to Hartford preschool children. Community Medical Center Employees Hold Volunteer Day to Launch Trail Development.
BEACHWOOD, N.J., June 17, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Barnabas Health has partnered with Ocean County, the National Recreation and Park Association and CBS EcoMedia to construct a new fitness-themed play pocket trail at Jakes Branch County Park in Ocean County. When complete, the Jakes Branch County Park Play Trail will provide local children and their families a trail experience that integrates play, physical activity, education and socialization. Jakes Branch County Park is a regional park located off of Double Trouble Road in Beachwood, New Jersey.
Partnership With National Recreation and Park Association to Enhance Youth Sports Programs in Baltimore and Serve More Youth in the Community

Funding will support the distribution of much-needed new uniforms and sports equipment to programs in Hartford, Howard and Cecil Counties, and Baltimore City. The programs aim to engage youth in after-school activities and empower them to build and hone the values and skills they need to achieve positive outcomes.
Grant program will enable low-income families to receive fresh, local produce harvested from local community gardens

Foundation are partnering on the Grow Your Park grant program to fund community garden projects in 15 communities. The community gardens will specifically benefit low-income community members providing fresh, local produce that they can grow on their own at low- to no-cost.
