When we think about volunteering at NetSuite, we often focus on the fun and meaningful parts of the experience — from getting to work side-by-side with colleagues we may have never met before to serving a hot meal to someone in our community.
The effects of human-caused climate change are both predictable and unknown, but we do know that healthy ecosystems are more resilient to these effects. As individuals, we have an ethical responsibility to incrementally shift our behaviors to support ecosystem health; however, no one person can do this alone. In fact, we have to re-imagine and manage partnerships between institutions to support a shift towards a sustainable future.

Annual pro bono volunteer program has delivered 56,000 service hours to 90 nonprofits since 2009

Over the course of the next eight weeks, teams of Morgan Stanley employee volunteers in New York and London will work with leadership teams at 14 nonprofit organizations to create concrete deliverables that will help the nonprofit partners address mission critical challenges.
Hackathons have become a popular pro bono volunteer event model– bringing together a group of people to use their creative skills and technology know-how to solve problems in a short amount of time. Participants make new connections, learn new skills, feel like they make a difference, and typically vie for a prize and bragging rights for the winning idea (which doesn’t hurt!).
