February 18, 2020 /3BL Media/ - Geronimo Energy (Geronimo), a National Grid company, and Basin Electric Power Cooperative (Basin Electric) announced today the execution of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the Wild Springs Solar Project (Wild Springs). Wild Springs is a 128 megawatt (MW) clean solar energy project located in Pennington County, South Dakota, approximately 20 miles east of Rapid City. Wild Springs is anticipated to begin operations in 2022.

Funding aids remediation efforts at 683 Northland Ave., and purchase of a van for student transportation
BUFFALO, N.Y. /3BL Media/ – National Grid is a longtime supporter of developing the workforce of the future. The most recent example of these efforts is working with Northland Workforce Training Center to achieve its remediation targets at its 683 Northland Ave. headquarters and training facility.
The training center opened last year in a building located on about 35 acres in an historic manufacturing district on Buffalo’s East Side. Prior to doing so, Northland needed to redevelop the building and nearby streetscape.
With the start of summer only a few weeks away, hundreds of New York State parks that are maintained by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will soon open too. May is National Electrical Safety Month, dedicated to safe practices in and around the home and workplace, and National Grid crews are using an opportunity to promote a special focus on outdoor electrical safety.
