Lockheed Martin donates high-tech simulation software fostering STEM education in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla., January 22, 2019 /3BL Media/ - Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) donated Prepar3D licenses valued at more than $32,000 to the Orlando Science Center kicking off the annual Otronicon conference furthering science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in the Central Florida community.
Grant supports creation of new children’s exhibit to promote critical thinking skills
ORLANDO, Fla., June 18, 2015 /3BL Media/ – The James M. Cox Foundation announced a $300,000 grant to Orlando Science Center to help build New KidsTown, an exhibit to serve children from infancy to age seven. The new children’s area will be three times larger than the current space and will feature play-based learning and high-touch explorations to promote critical thinking skills. New KidsTown will also feature a dedicated infant and toddler area.
