Carnival Australia Supporting Australian Red Cross for Bushfire Disaster Relief

January 7, 2020 /3BL Media/ - Australia’s leading cruise organisation, Carnival Australia, today pledged $350,000 to support the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund as a result of the devastating bushfires.

P&O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard and Holland America Line – all of which have ships based year round in Australia or home ported here on extended seasonal deployments – are contributing.

Carnival Australia Cruise Passengers First to Go Ashore in Port Vila as Humanitarian Aid Shipments to Vanuatu Continue

April 6, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Passengers departing Brisbane this Saturday on P&O Cruises Pacific Dawn will become the first to go ashore in Port Vila following the devastation caused by Cyclone Pam.

Vila has been confirmed as safe for cruise visitors to return as a result of the determined recovery efforts that have been underway since the cyclone hit causing widespread damage.

Pacific Pearl will follow Pacific Dawn into Vila three days later with both ships continuing to deliver shipments of humanitarian aid including building material to support reconstruction efforts.
