Our Sands Cares corporate citizenship program was recently highlighted in a Hotel Business Magazine article for donating $100,000 to five local nonprofit organizations in the Las Vegas area. The donations were part of the Sands Give-Back Bank, where Team Members from The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo determined which five charities they wanted to receive the donations.
In the casino, winning and losing is the name of the game. For Sands Las Vegas and its employees, giving back to the community is a win-win situation.
Sands Cares, the hotel brand’s corporate citizenship program, has donated $100,000 to five nonprofit organizations serving the local area. The Sands Give-Back Bank is its charitable giving initiative where employees at The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo Convention Center are encouraged and empowered to decide where the brand allocates the money.
