Last October, five Xylem volunteers from Chile, Germany, Sweden and the United States spent five days exploring the water environments of South Florida and collaborating with groups working to protect these unique environments. Activities were conducted in partnership with EarthEcho International, one of Xylems’ global nonprofit partners, and led by EarthEcho’s co-founder and President, Philippe Cousteau Jr.

The Xylem team in Cegled, Hungary held a Watermark Family Day and Music for Water Event as part of this year's Global Month of Service. Xylem employees had the opportunity to educate more than 400 participants at the event about water-related issues. The program’s activities included a factory tour, health prevention, water-related games, medical checks, and a “Music for Water” concert by “The Blue Wave – A Xylem Band." The concert helped raise funds to provide clean, safe water for people in need and highlighted the team's passion for and knowledge of water.

Xylem Watermark supports global nonprofit partner Water For People and their mission to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.

As part of Xylem Watermark’s second annual Global Month of Service, a group of volunteers from Xylem’s headquarters in Rye Brook, NY visited St. Cassian School in Montclair, NJ to help educate students about the importance of clean water.

The day’s activities included water testing in Verona Park with the fifth and sixth grade students and a water filtration activity with the kindergarten class. Volunteers had the opportunity to engage students in these clean water processes, meet teachers and parents at the school, and introduce the community to the Xylem Watermark program.
