If there was one word to describe the Action Team, it would have to be “family.” The people you meet and the experiences you have all build upon who you are, and the Action Team is there to help facilitate that growth — much like a family would.
It was a banner summer for the Players Trust programs that engage kids in their communities when school is out.
Buses for Baseball brought underserved kids to the ballpark, through City Clinics players helped inner-city kids learn the game, Action Teams partnered with players to serve their communities and Operation Backpack ensured that some of the neediest children will have sufficient school supplies when they return to the classroom.
