ALLENTOWN, Pa., June 19, 2019 /3BL Media/ – The Mack Trucks Historical Museum unveiled an all-new exhibit titled “Keeping America Clean: The Evolution of the Waste Industry.” The exhibit, which features three antique Mack® trucks and an interactive visitor education display, was made possible thanks to support from Mack Trucks and Republic Services, an industry leader in recycling and waste disposal and longtime Mack customer. A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to officially open the exhibit.
ISM Raceway is the site of many fierce competitions, with the best drivers facing off in NASCAR and IndyCar races. Republic Services also brought its best drivers to ISM – along with its best operators and technicians – for the company’s ROAD-EO National Championship.
School will soon be out for the summer, which means more children will be outside playing in their neighborhoods. The National Safety Council has declared June to be National Safety Month, and it’s the perfect time to talk about summer safety around recycling and waste collection trucks.

The new CNG-powered trucks are replacing older, diesel-powered trucks, and help to reduce unwanted noise and air emissions in the communities they serve. The expansion includes a new CNG fueling station and highly advanced maintenance facility, which will enable more efficient operations and service for customers throughout Lorain, Cuyahoga and Medina counties.
