Q: Tell us about a challenge you overcame during your career?
Shortly after I began my maternity leave with my second child, the company I was working for at the time restructured and I lost my job. Q: Tell us about your job:
I’m currently responsible for managing the development of new products.
I started 9 years ago as a product coordinator, already having 11 years of experience in the apparel industry; I was able to transfer a lot of that knowledge to my new position.

Conversation after conversation, I started to chip away at what felt wrong about money, and we would talk about their “wish list” when it comes to finance. What came up again and again was the desire to feel smart about money decisions – “whatever I do should be easy to understand, available to all, convenient to do, and make me feel good and empowered.”
