The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSE: TD, NYSE: TD) is a Canadian bank. The Toronto-Dominion Bank and its subsidiaries are collectively known as TD Bank Group (TD the Bank).

On September 30, 2010, the Bank completed the acquisition of The South Financial Group, Inc. (South Financial) and South Financial’s subsidiary, Carolina First Bank, merged with TD Bank.
