American Cancer Society CEO John R. Seffrin, PhD, talks about the importance of the United Nations High-level Meeting on Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) in New York City from September 19-20. This historic meeting, held in conjunction with the annual United Nations General Assembly meeting, is only the second health meeting for heads of state ever held at the United Nations (the first meeting was on HIV/Aids in 2001).
