SSD Gnat practices opening a door at the Broad Street Market for a person who uses a wheelchair. For a person who uses a wheelchair, having a service dog that can open doors, especially heavy doors, can be an important part of becoming more independent.

Susquehanna Service Dogs takes the dogs in advanced training on several public outings so the dogs get used to different environments and really start to generalize behaviors.
