Students from across Darke County gathered Monday in Greenville to share a simple message to the community — ”We are drug free!”
The “We Are The Majority” group, composed of seventh grade students to high school seniors, marched down South Broadway, from the Annie Oakley statue to the city municipal building, carrying signs and chanting their anti-drug message. An estimated 200 students, teachers and parents participated.
The event was organized by student leaders of the We Are The Majority group.
From tree planting and biking to work to an all-out print reduction competition, BNY Mellon employees are taking eco-friendly action this spring. Eco Days began with Earth Day on April 22 and continue through World Environment Day on June 5.

Two-toed sloth, bald eagle and boa constrictor visit North American headquarters
The FCA US Chrysler World Headquarters and Technology Center (CTC) in Michigan got a little wild last week when a few of nature’s finest dropped in for a visit to celebrate Earth Day 2017.
A two-toed sloth, bald eagle and a border collie trained to herd geese showed their stuff to employees who had the chance to ask questions and take pictures. Rounding out the cavalcade of animals were some flying squirrels, bats, owls, starfish, turtles, salamander, sea lamprey and a boa constrictor.

Namdeb, De Beers’ partnership venture with the Government of the Republic of Namibia, has highlighted the value of teamwork among its employees
The company has hosted its Interdepartmental Games in March with the main aim of promoting employee wellbeing and morale.
Namdeb employees and contractors formed teams to compete against each other in sporting activities such as seven-a-side soccer, netball, volleyball, cricket and a tug of war plus fun races including rope skipping, potato-on-spoon and three-legged races.
