GM promotes sustainable development through biodiversity goal
DETROIT, November 11, 2017 /3BL Media/ - As General Motors continues scaling its efforts to restore, protect and promote biodiversity, 11 more sites have earned Conservation Certification from the Wildlife Habitat Council. The company is using its land, resources and partnerships to help address pressing global biodiversity issues.
Even today, about 2.4 billion people—one in every three globally—live without access to proper sanitation. Recognizing the magnitude of the challenge, in FYE2016, LIXIL pledged to provide better sanitation to 100 million people by 2020. Since then, we have been accelerating our efforts to deliver viable toilet solutions to areas lacking adequate sanitation.

Ecolab among 10 percent of companies participating in CDP’s water program to be named to the Water A List

Ecolab opens Water University to help companies accelerate their progress
NAPERVILLE, Ill., October 23, 2017 /3BL Media/ - By the year 2030, water demand is expected to exceed sustainable supply by 40 percent, but only 42 percent of respondents from a recent survey conducted by Ecolab and GreenBiz Group cited water management as a strategic corporate initiative. According to the research, 82 percent of the 184 large businesses surveyed say they are not sufficiently using advanced tools and technologies to better manage their water use.
