C&A announces the publication of its first Global Sustainability Report. The launch of the Report details C&A’s 2015 progress toward the 2020 goals, launched last year. The 2020 goals marked an ambitious new global sustainability commitment and strategic framework for C&A.

It’s been a busy six months for the 2015 Biomimicry Global Design Challenge finalists. Last October, eight teams from around the world were chosen to be part of the first-ever biomimicry food systems accelerator. After pitching and getting feedback on their design concepts in-person during SXSW Eco in Austin, TX, these intrepid innovators began working furiously to test and prototype their nature-inspired design concepts.

The bottles – collected from five of its Michigan facilities – are also being turned into air filtration components and insulation in coats for the homeless community.

Boy!

For those of you who read last week, that was the answer to our question. We are so very excited, and we are grateful that our baby is looking good and healthy on the ultrasound.

Now, on to this week’s post. Growing up, I had the inestimable blessing of a Southern mother who made dinner for the family most nights. This meant that I ate well. Mom, I didn’t say this enough back then, but thank you!
