Vistra Scores Significantly Higher Than the North American Average on its First Ever CDP Climate Change Disclosure

December 14, 2020 /3BL Media/ -- Vistra today announced that CDP, a global non-profit running the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform, scored Vistra in the ‘Management Band’ of its 2020 climate change report, including companies known for taking coordinated action on climate issues, with an overall score of ‘B’. This year 9,600 companies disclosed environmental data through CDP, where companies were assessed based off of the comprehensiveness of their disclosures, management of environmental risks, and best practices associated with environmental leadership.

Ørsted and Amazon Sign Europe's Largest Offshore Wind Corporate Power Purchase Agreement

December 10, 2020 /3BL Media/ - Amazon, the technology company based in Seattle, Washington, has signed a 10-year corporate power purchase agreement with Ørsted, the world-leader in offshore wind, to offtake the output of 250MW from Ørsted's planned 900MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farm in Germany. This CPPA will contribute to Amazon’s target of being 100% renewable by 2030 as part of the company’s goal to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
