Sealed Air and Alchemy Systems Partner to Improve Food Safety and Traceability Across Borders

Sealed Air and Alchemy Systems have announced a new partnership.  Whereby the two companies will work together in Latin America and North America to help both food producers and exporters meet growing and changing industry regulations by identifying and addressing risks in their supply chains. 

Playing for a Sustainable Future

Recently, PANDORA joined an event supporting the Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations. PANDORA participated in ‘The Global Goals World Cup’ in Bangkok with a female soccer team of employees competing against other supporting companies.

In 2015, World Leaders in the United Nations came together to face the future. A future where the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are reached; one where extreme poverty is ended, inequality and injustice are fought, and the planet is protected.

In support of this future, PANDORA has chosen to work with and commit to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals are seen as an action platform for PANDORA’s support within the UN Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), HP and the HP Foundation have renewed their partnership to further foster entrepreneurship and employment opportunities for young men and women in developing countries through technology-related learning.

A memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed in New York today by LI Yong, Director General of UNIDO, and Nate Hurst, Chief Sustainability and Social Impact Officer for HP. The signing took place on the margins of the UN General Assembly’s United Nations Private Sector Forum.

The ocelot is, by any standards, a beautiful and magnificent animal. It is a little larger than your average house cat, and distinguished by a very long, ringed tail and distinctive spot patterns on its body. Most Americans have likely not seen one of these creatures in person for a couple of reasons. First, they don’t breed in large numbers. Ocelot females normally have just one kitten per litter, sometimes two. Second, there are only an estimated 80 ocelots left in the country due to the gradual and substantial loss and fragmentation of their habitat.
