Hormel Foods Corporation and Brookshire Grocery Co. donated 1,080 Hormel® Cure 81® half hams to the East Texas Food Bank to help feed those in need this holiday season. In total, the two companies are donating over $100,000 in hams to dozens of food banks and food kitchens in communities where Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods and Spring Market stores operate.

OTTAWA – “Welcome home” were the words that were repeated several times to Becky Gable-Giblin and her daughter Mariah during the dedication at their new home this past weekend.
Putnam County Habitat for Humanity hosted the dedication of their tenth house on Sunday. The house is located at 1366 North Defiance Street in Ottawa. Giblin and her daughter are the partner family members who will live in the house.
The Ocean Shores Food Bank is one of four groups on Grays Harbor County that have started receiving help from the Aberdeen Safeway store with ongoing efforts to feed hungry Harborites through a program administered by Seattle-based nonprofit Food Lifeline.
Albertsons employees and customers worked together to raise funds this month to help solve hunger in Idaho, and on Thursday, Albertsons came to The Idaho Foodbank with a truck filled with 2,616 full turkey dinners for the families who need them most.
