Crisis Expert Mike Lawrence Joins Panel at the International Crisis Management Conference

BOSTON, April 5, 2017 /3BL Media/ – Mike Lawrence, Chief Reputation Officer and Executive Vice President of CSR Strategy at Cone Communications, will join a panel of crisis experts at the International Crisis Management Conference on April 5. The one-day event will facilitate regionalized education and training for preparedness professionals and feature themed or scenario-based exercises. 

Lawrence will participate in a panel discussion entitled, “Crisis Leadership Lessons from the Chilean Mine Rescue.” The session will explore the San Jose copper and gold mine collapse on August 5, 2010. Panelists will discuss key findings based on a review of the disaster, as well as highlight common challenges leaders face during high-pressure situations. Other panelists include Daniel Linskey, Managing Director, Boston Office Head, Investigations and Disputes at Kroll and Leanne Metz, Associate Director, Mead Johnson Nutrition.

A two-year veteran speaker at the event, Lawrence joins the conference with a host of crisis expertise. As a five-time Emmy-award winner, he comes to the table with more than 15 years’ experience assisting brands in crisis strategy, issues identification and management, as well as more than 25 years under his belt as a reporter and television anchorman.
