SEATTLE, November 14, 2019 /3BL Media/ - The International Living Future Institute has opened registration for its 14th annual Living Future unConference in Seattle, Washington, on May 5-8, 2020 at the downtown Hyatt Regency. Focused on finding solutions in the face of global climate crisis, the event gathers climate and social justice activists, sustainable designers, and business and education leaders to build community, advance shared values and re-energize to do the difficult work ahead. This event is for anyone working to fight climate change, wondering whether any of it makes a difference. In presentations, afterparties and hallways, the community at Living Future will answer with a resounding, “yes, it matters.”
2020 keynote speakers include Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, Youth Director for Earth Guardians, indigenous climate activist and hip hop artist, and Katharine Wilkinson, Vice President of Communication and Engagement for Project Drawdown and Senior Writer for the New York Times bestseller Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming.
Join these powerful speakers and collaborate with a global community of changemakers as we tackle the issue of sustaining hope in the face of a looming climate crisis. The data is bleak, the trend lines are blinding - why do we keep showing up to do this work?
Over the course of four days, attendees will learn new sustainable design solutions, connect with leaders, and leave inspired to further the environmental movement. A compelling, hopeful vision for the future is what the International Living Future Institute was founded on - join us and share what sustains your hope for our future.
Registration is open now with the best prices of the year available through December 2nd.
