August 31, 2015 /3BL Media/ - AIDA Cruises has supported the Hanse-Tour-Sonnenschein charity bike ride 2015 as a long-standing partner. From August 6-9th, 275 cyclists took to the road to raise money for children's cancer research on the 650-kilometer stretch from Havelberg to Rostock. The donations are to go toward developing new treatment concepts and improving the nursing and psychosocial care of children with cancer. Participants in the Hanse-Tour-Sonnenschein 2015 raised EUR 130,000.
On Saturday, August 29, STAR India's flagship channel Star Plus will air Girl Rising, an acclaimed documentary from Academy Award nominee Richard E. Robbins that raises awareness of gender inequality and advocates for women's empowerment. The film is the centerpiece of the Girl Rising campaign, which promotes women's rights around the world, and this broadcast will be the first time the film has been shown in India.
As FOX prepares for the September 23 premiere of Empire's second season, the network is partnering with the nonprofit Notes for Notes for a new initiative entitled "FOX PRESENTS EMPIRE Behind the Beat." The campaign will raise money to build fully equipped music studios across the country for young people to have free access to instruments and audio equipment, as well as professional mentors to help them hone their talent. The program will inspire the next generation to create its own musical voice.

August 19, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Members of Seabourn Legend’s Entertainment Team went ashore in St. John’s, Antigua, earlier this month with a breakspecial delivery for the Antigua Public Library: nearly 150 gently used books.
Cruise Director Aaron Syfert and Assistant Cruise Directors Meredith Tyler and David Delarre delivered the novels and non-fiction titles to Port Agent Mark Azille, who helped arrange the donation.
